Starting from approx. 11:30 o’clock the Augustusplatz in Leipzig steadily filled up. At the beginning of the meeting at 13:00 o’clock dozens of live streams recorded the events on site. Thousands of peaceful people demonstrate against the Corona measures of the Federal Government. The police insisted on minimum distance and masks, the side streets were completely filled. The demonstration is currently interrupted repeatedly because cooperation talks with the police have to take place.
The atmosphere: peaceful. The expectations for today: high.
