BERLIN, September 2020 – On October 10, 2020, The Silent March for peace, freedom and human rights will begin at Adenauerplatz in Berlin at 11:59 a.m. under the slogan “We must TALK”.
The March of Silence is one of a multitude of nationwide actions, all of which pursue the goal of enforcing the return to the constitutional state by means of the rule of law. Violence, such as that committed on August 29, 2020 in Berlin against peaceful people in a registered demonstration, must not be part of the new normality.
Since it is currently not possible to hold demonstrations in Berlin with more than 100 participants without masks, participants are asked to be creative. As the constitutional state is the main focus of the March of Silence, the participants are asked to demonstrate that the silent protesters are willing to follow even pointless rules, but that these rules must be abolished urgently.
The March of Silence serves to give more people the necessary impulse to become active. It is a peaceful, loud but wordless appeal to politicians and the media to urgently eliminate the current intolerable situation.
www.der-schweigemarsch.de offers detailed information about goals, motives, mission statements and the need for discussion.
The silent march is carried exclusively by people who are committed to freedom, peace and human rights. Neither organizations nor individual speakers are at the forefront; it is about people showing their face for what is important to them. The focus is on each individual acting on his or her own responsibility.
Everyone is invited to take to the streets for their own rights. Flags, signs, banners, as well as clothing with slogans of organizations or associations are not welcome.
In the event of an emergency, the team has secured the legal support of the Klagepaten.
